The Mulberry Centre - for anyone affected by cancer Heart

Current Volunteer Vacancies

We always have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities. Below are a selection of specific roles for which we are currently recruiting , however, whatever your skills, we’re sure to find a way for you to use them!  Please click the links on each role for further information or email to discuss other options.

We are developing a new project and would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a telephone befriender to some of our clients age 65+, reducing social isolation by checking in with friendly calls, encouraging and assisting them to access our online resources including the offer to meet online with other users in a group setting. We also have a new community engagement project which is looking for volunteers to visit local GP surgeries, libraries and other public premises to deliver leaflets and other publicity materials particularly in Richmond & Hounslow.

Chair of Trustees

We are seeking a Chair of Trustees to replace the present Chair who is stepping down after 4 years. With Covid 19 all charities are facing challenges at the moment, but the Centre has risen to the challenges and has a great deal to offer for the future. The Trustees are keen to find the right person for the next phase of the Charity’s development and someone who will share our vision and values. The Chair will normally serve an initial term of three years and may at the discretion of the Trustees be appointed for a second term not exceeding three years.

The Chair is expected to have regular meetings with the Executive Director, and to respond to issues as they arise. S/he will also represent the Charity at various events and on occasion at meetings with key stakeholders
