Support and services
The Mulberry Centre is a walk-in cancer information and support centre with a welcoming and non-clinical environment based within the grounds of West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth. We are a registered charity and the majority of our funding comes from charitable donations. Our aim is to deliver a range of information and support services to all people affected by a diagnosis of cancer: to the cancer patient, friends and family, carers and those bereaved by cancer. Although the majority of our users come from the London Boroughs of Hounslow, Richmond and Ealing, we are open to all, regardless of postcode or hospital of diagnosis. Our services are offered free of charge .
The range of services we offer includes counselling sessions and support groups, complementary and relaxation therapies, a well-stocked library, information on relevant welfare and benefits, plus a wide range of workshops. Support can also be provided on a drop-in basis here at the Centre, or via e-mail and telephone. You might just want to come and have a chat over a cup of tea or enjoy the tranquility of the Centre and its beautiful garden (British weather-permitting!).
We hope that the combination of information, support, self-management and relaxation we offer will help you feel in control; our aim is to help you to make the right decisions to manage both the physical and mental trauma of a cancer diagnosis.
