We always have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities. We are looking for volunteer counsellors who can provide one-to-one person-centred counselling to individuals affected by cancer (patients, carers and bereaved). We offer seven sessions to cancer patients, carers and anyone who has been bereaved. Volunteer Counsellor role here
Can you offer complementary therapies for people with a diagnosis of cancer and their carers? Clients can register with us, primarily by self-referral. Therapies offered are recognised as having positive benefits and are given with the aim of relieving stress related symptoms. Volunteer Complementary Therapist role here
You could be responsible for welcoming visitors, offering refreshments and ensuring their visit to the Centre is always a warm and positive experience. The volunteer welcomer is an ideal role for warm, friendly people with excellent communication and listening skills who enjoy being in a dynamic and varied environment. Volunteer Welcomer role here
Are you a new graduate from a marketing course or a more experienced marketer who is looking to gain experience in a new field? We are looking for a dynamic individual who will help raise the profile of The Mulberry Centre (TMC) in the local community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their marketing and communications skills in social media, design, photography and publications. Are you a keen photographer with a few hours to spare? You could work closely with our Community Fundraising Team and volunteers supporting them at events by providing images for a range of media and library usage. Volunteer Photographer role here
