How we are funded
The costs of running The Mulberry Centre have to be met by the income that we manage to raise ourselves. We have a mix of statutory funding which is funding and contracts from sources such as councils and health trusts; we receive grants from Trusts and Foundations and we also try to raise as much “unrestricted” income as we can, i.e. money we can spend how we like. Unrestricted money comes from individual donations, fundraising events, community groups etc while other sources ask that we spend the money on specific projects or elements of our work. This is known as “restricted income”.
We are extremely grateful to all our supporters and funders past and present without whom we simply would not be able to continue to provide our support for anyone affected by cancer.
We have received grants from the following in the previous and current financial year (from April 2018 to present).
For the full list of funders, please see our Annual Reports which are usually published around October every year.
