How should I prepare for a class?

Loose, comfortable clothing should be worn with heelless shoes, socks or bare feet. You may wish to bring a light blanket for warmth during the relaxation section of all therapies.

You may like to bring a cushion for the Meditation class.

It is advisable not to eat anything for 1-1½ hours before attending a Yoga class

And after the sessions?

It is advisable to sit quietly for 10-15 minutes after each session. This “coming to” period is particularly important if you are driving yourself home.

After Yoga sessions you should drink plenty of water to cleanse the body of any released toxins. You may experience a mild headache or nausea. This is simply your system getting used to doing something new and is nothing to worry about.

Who will lead the sessions?

All Relaxation Therapists at TMC are Volunteers who are professionally trained and qualified in their field, hold the necessary insurance documents and have undergone a rigorous selection procedure.

How do I book?

The sessions do not need to be taken on consecutive weeks. You can book the sessions on the dates which best suit you, subject to availability. Contact The Mulberry Centre on 020 8321 6300 to book.

If you are unable to keep an appointment for any reason, please notify the centre as soon as possible and preferably no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment.
