GREENHAM nominate The Mulberry Centre

The Isleworth based Head Office of industrial supplies giant Greenham has nominated The Mulberry Centre as their charity of the year. Each year Greenham chooses a charity to support within the Greater London area, which is close to someone’s heart within the organisation, and this year has raised a fantastic £5,379 for The Mulberry Centre.

Greenham, which specializes in the provision of personal protection equipment, contractor site tools, cleaning, hygiene and maintenance products, is part of Bunzl, a FTSE 100 company and one of the world's fastest growing specialist distribution groups.

All the monies donated to The Mulberry Centre were fundraised by staff at the Isleworth Head Office through a raffle and their dress-down Friday scheme which incurs a £1 fee per staff member. Brett Wakeley, Assistant Buyer, said ‘We have recognised the good work that has and is being carried out by The Mulberry Centre and we are proud to be able to contribute to this ongoing initiative’.

The cheque was presented to Director Claire James in May at the head office in Isleworth. Claire said that ‘we are absolutely thrilled with the support from Greenham. The Mulberry Centre is a haven for all people affected by cancer and even though we support people irrespective of their postcode, a large proportion of our users are from the local boroughs and so having the support from a local company mean so much’.
